CFG Bank Arena Bag Policy 2026 | Clear Bag Sizes & Rules

Heading to CFG Bank Arena in Baltimore for a concert, sporting event, or family show? The venue would rather you skip bringing a bag entirely, but if you need one, it runs a clear bag policy with a specific size that differs from the more common 12″×12″×6″ you might expect from other arenas. Here is everything you need to know about the official cfg bank arena bag policy.

Quick Answer: CFG Bank Arena Bag Policy at a Glance

CFG Bank Arena requests that guests do not bring a bag if possible. If necessary, permitted items under the official cfg bank arena bag policy include clear bags no larger than 14″ × 6″ × 14″ under the cfg bank arena clear bag policy, small clutches, purses, or wallets no larger than 4.5″ × 6.5″, and medical bags. Baby essentials are allowed only if placed inside a clear plastic bag under the cfg bank arena baltimore bag policy.

How We Check This Policy: At BagPolicyInfo, we pull bag rules directly from the venue’s official FAQs page and note when a dimension differs from what’s common at comparable arenas — CFG Bank Arena’s 14″×6″×14″ clear bag limit is a different shape than the 12″×12″×6″ many fans are used to, so we flag that explicitly.

Official CFG Bank Arena Bag Policy Overview

CFG Bank Arena requests that guests do not bring a bag if possible under the cfg bank arena bag policy. If a bag is necessary, permitted items include clear bags no larger than 14″ × 6″ × 14″, small clutches, purses, or wallets no larger than 4.5″ × 6.5″ (which don’t need to be clear), and medical bags, subject to security screening. Baby essentials are allowed, but only if placed inside a clear plastic bag under the cfg bank arena clear bag policy. Backpacks are not permitted at any size unless they’re clear and within the standard size limit. If you bring an oversized or noncompliant bag, locker rentals are available on the Hopkins Plaza Flag Court area.

What Makes This CFG Bank Arena Policy Different?

CFG Bank Arena’s clear bag dimensions (14″×6″×14″) are a different shape than the more commonly seen 12″×12″×6″ or 12″×6″×12″ limits at comparable arenas — worth double-checking if you’re bringing a bag purchased for use at another stadium, since it may not translate directly even if it seems similarly sized under the cfg bank arena baltimore bag policy. The venue also handles baby essentials distinctively: rather than granting diaper bags their own blanket exception, CFG Bank Arena requires baby items specifically to be placed inside a clear plastic bag, folding that category into the standard clear-bag rule rather than treating it separately.

Allowed Bags and Size Limits Under CFG Bank Arena Bag Policy

Review the permitted bag types and dimensions before heading to CFG Bank Arena under the cfg bank arena bag policy:

Clear Bags

Clear bags are permitted up to 14″ × 6″ × 14″. This is the primary option for anyone needing more capacity than a small clutch allows under the cfg bank arena clear bag policy.

Small Clutches and Wallets

Small clutches, purses, or wallets no larger than 4.5″ × 6.5″ are permitted and don’t need to be clear under the cfg bank arena bag policy.

Backpacks, Purses, and Crossbody Bags

Backpacks are not permitted at any size unless they’re clear and within the 14″ × 6″ × 14″ limit. Standard non-clear backpacks have no compliant version here under the cfg bank arena baltimore bag policy.

Diaper, Medical, and ADA Exceptions

Medical bags are permitted, subject to security screening. Baby essentials are allowed, but specifically when placed inside a clear plastic bag — there’s no separate standalone diaper bag exception outside that clear-bag requirement.

Prohibited Bags and Items Under CFG Bank Arena Bag Rules

• Backpacks of all sizes (unless clear and within the 14″ × 6″ × 14″ limit)
• Duffel bags and bulky luggage
• Mesh or straw bags
• Camera cases and laptop bags
• Non-clear bags exceeding 4.5″ × 6.5″
• Coolers and hard/soft beverage containers
• Drawstring or cinch gym sacks

How Security Screening Works at CFG Bank Arena

All permitted bags, including clear bags, clutches, and medical bags, are subject to security screening at entry under the cfg bank arena bag policy. Since baby essentials need to be inside a clear plastic bag rather than a separate diaper bag, screening for that category follows the same process as any other clear bag. If you arrive with something that doesn’t comply, the arena directs you to locker rentals on Hopkins Plaza rather than turning you away outright.

Packing Strategy for Faster Entry

1. Consider skipping a bag entirely: Since the venue explicitly requests this where possible to speed up gate queues.
2. Verify dimensions carefully: If you need a bag, default to a clear 14″ × 6″ × 14″ bag rather than assuming a 12″ × 12″ × 6″ bag from another stadium will match this venue’s shape under the cfg bank arena clear bag policy.
3. Use a clutch for minimum essentials: If you only need the basics, a small clutch under 4.5″ × 6.5″ skips the clear-bag requirement entirely.
4. Repack baby essentials: Pack baby essentials directly into a clear plastic bag rather than bringing a standard diaper bag.
5. Leave prohibited bags at home: Skip duffel bags, mesh or straw bags, and camera cases entirely, since none of these have a compliant version here under the cfg bank arena bag policy.
6. Plan for locker backup: If you know you’re bringing something oversized on purpose, plan to use the locker rentals on the Hopkins Plaza Flag Court area.

Security Check Anxiety Tips

If security lines add stress, knowing the specific 14″×6″×14″ clear bag dimension ahead of time — rather than assuming a bag sized for another arena will fit — removes a common source of confusion at the gate. Packing baby essentials directly into a clear bag from the start also means one less thing to sort out during screening. Since locker rentals exist as a backup, arriving with a little extra time gives you room to use them if your bag doesn’t comply.

Day-of Entry Tips From BagPolicyInfo

• 14″×6″×14″ isn’t the standard shape: Don’t assume a bag sized for another stadium’s 12″×12″×6″ rule will automatically work here under the cfg bank arena bag policy.
• Baby essentials need a clear bag, not a diaper bag: There’s no standalone diaper bag exception — use a clear plastic bag instead.
• No coat check exists: CFG Bank Arena’s own FAQ confirms there’s no coat check, so plan accordingly beyond just bags.
• Locker rentals are on Hopkins Plaza Flag Court: Use this if you bring something oversized on purpose.
• Skip the bag if you can: The venue’s own guidance is to travel without one where possible under the cfg bank arena baltimore bag policy.

Category-Specific Packing Tips

Concertgoers: Check for any artist-specific bag restrictions on your event page, since touring acts can occasionally add their own requirements beyond the standard venue policy under the cfg bank arena bag policy.

Parents with infants: Pack diapers, wipes, and other baby essentials into a clear plastic bag rather than bringing a standard diaper bag, since that’s the specific format the policy requires.

Guests with medical needs: Medical bags are permitted but subject to security screening — bring documentation or be ready to explain if asked under the cfg bank arena clear bag policy.
