Confidence level: High for size limits and prohibited items. Moderate for medical and infant accommodations, which are detailed across separate accessibility sections.

Important notes: The venue states that its bag policy is subject to change per event, and individual artist “Know Before You Go” updates may enforce stricter rules.

How We Check This Policy: We base every dimension, restriction, and recommendation on YouTube Theater’s official Bag Policy and FAQ pages. Where the venue leaves a detail unaddressed—such as a specific depth limit on the 11″ × 14″ cap—we note it transparently so you can choose the safest option.

Official YouTube Theater Bag Policy Overview

YouTube Theater designed its bag policy to foster a secure, comfortable entertainment environment for all patrons. The venue enforces a concise baseline rule under the youtube theater bag policy: bags must not exceed 11 inches × 14 inches, and any bag larger than these dimensions will be denied entry. Clear bags are not mandatory for regular performances, though all bags undergo security inspection.

The theater notes that individual concert tours or promoters may implement stricter bag guidelines, including event-specific clear bag mandates, so checking event-day notices is always advised.

What Makes This YouTube Theater Policy Different

Operating adjacent to SoFi Stadium within the Hollywood Park entertainment complex, YouTube Theater features several unique entry guidelines:

No clear bag requirement for standard events: Unlike neighboring SoFi Stadium which requires clear bags under NFL rules, YouTube Theater permits non-clear bags within the size threshold.
A straightforward two-dimension limit: The policy specifies 11 inches × 14 inches without listing an exact depth limit, making slim profiles the safest bet.
Comprehensive prohibited items list: The FAQ bans common accessories including umbrellas, strollers, selfie sticks, laptops, and outdoor seat cushions.
Event-specific overrides: If a touring performer designates a Clear Bag Policy for their show, backpacks and opaque bags failing that criteria will be barred.
100% cashless and mobile-only: Paper tickets are not accepted, and all concessions and merchandise stands accept card and mobile payments exclusively.

Standard Bags: Clear or Non-Clear Accepted

Any bag measuring 11″ × 14″ or smaller is permitted into YouTube Theater. That includes everyday non-clear shoulder purses, small crossbodies, and compact canvas totes. Because the venue doesn’t publish a depth dimension, choose a slim, flexible bag that fits comfortably under your seat.

Small Clutches and Wallets

Small clutches, wristlets, and wallets are well within the size limits and represent the quickest items to inspect at entry checkpoints.

Backpacks: What You Need to Know

The general bag policy does not ban backpacks outright. A compact mini-backpack measuring under 11″ × 14″ may be permitted, provided the specific concert does not implement an artist-mandated clear bag policy. Because gate attendants assess bags at their discretion, carrying a smaller purse or crossbody is the safer option.

Medical, ADA, and Family Bags Under YouTube Theater Inglewood Bag Policy

The standard bag text does not publish a standalone size exemption for medical or diaper bags under the youtube theater inglewood bag policy. Medically necessary supplies are accommodated upon inspection. Strollers and wagons are prohibited inside the auditorium. Children under 3 years old do not need a ticket if sitting on a parent’s lap, while guests aged 3 and older require a valid ticket. If carrying medical equipment or baby necessities, contact guest services ahead of time to confirm entrance procedures.

How Security Screening Works

All patrons and their belongings undergo physical and visual inspection before entering YouTube Theater under the youtube theater bag policy. Security attendants examine bags and scan mobile tickets via digital scanners. Because paper tickets are not valid, have your digital barcode accessible in your mobile wallet or through the Hollywood Park app. If you carry a prohibited item, you will be required to return it to your vehicle before entering.

Packing Strategy for Faster Entry

Choose a compact bag: Select a small crossbody or clutch well under 11″ × 14″, or go bag-free.
Check the tour page: Review “Know Before You Go” emails for artist-specific clear bag rules.
Leave prohibited accessories behind: Umbrellas, selfie sticks, laptops, and tablets are strictly banned.
Plan hydration correctly: Bring one factory-sealed plastic water bottle (20 oz. or less) or an empty clear, non-metal reusable bottle.
Save mobile tickets early: Load tickets into Apple Wallet or Google Wallet before reaching parking gates.
Bring a payment card: YouTube Theater is completely cashless; cards and mobile pay are accepted.
Arrive early: Give yourself time for parking, bag inspection, and navigating Hollywood Park.

Security Check Anxiety Tips

To keep entry stress-free, pack light: smartphone, ID, payment card, and car keys. Carrying fewer items makes the security check instantaneous. Arriving 45 minutes before showtime allows you to bypass the peak entry rush and explore the venue at a relaxed pace.

Day-of Entry Tips From BagPolicyInfo

Measure carefully: Attendants strictly enforce the 11″ × 14″ threshold; oversized bags will be turned away.
Hydration station locations: Free water refill stations are located on the Orchestra, Plaza, and Balcony levels.

No strollers allowed: Leave strollers in your vehicle, as they cannot enter the theater seating area.
Cashless payments: All food, drink, and merchandise stands accept major credit/debit cards and tap-to-pay.
Connect to free Wi-Fi: Access the complimentary venue Wi-Fi network (#HollywoodPark) to display tickets smoothly.
Parenting facilities: A Mother’s Room and quiet space are available; check in at Guest Services on the Plaza level.
